Terms & Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the PredictHQ Weekly Leaderboard Competition (“Competition”) operated by PredictHQ (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or joining the leaderboard you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
  • You must be a member of the PredictHQ Discord server.
  • Users who hold the designated “Goat” role in the Discord server are not eligible to win prizes through the leaderboard rankings. However, Goats are eligible to win prizes by submitting their weekly tweets.
  • You must have a valid Kalshi account with publicly visible PnL and must successfully verify ownership via the code-in-bio process.
  • To be eligible for weekly prizes you must submit two (2) tweets about your trading activity for that week through your account page.

3. How the Leaderboard Works

  • The Competition measures week-over-week PnL dollar growth on Kalshi.
  • Each competition week runs from Friday 12:01 AM EST to Thursday 11:59 PM EST. The leaderboard resets at 12:01 AM EST every Friday.
  • PnL data is refreshed automatically twice daily (12:00 PM EST and 12:00 AM EST). Rankings may change after each refresh.
  • At the start of each week your current PnL becomes your baseline. Growth is calculated as the percentage change from that baseline.

4. Account Verification

  • Accounts are created and authenticated exclusively through Discord OAuth.
  • To join the leaderboard you must link your Kalshi account by adding a unique 4-digit verification code to your Kalshi social profile description. This code must remain in your profile until verification is complete.
  • Your Kalshi PnL must be set to publicly visible. If it is not visible at the time of a scheduled PnL refresh, your growth data may not update.
  • Each Kalshi account may only be linked to one PredictHQ account at a time.

5. Weekly Tweet Requirement

  • To be eligible for prizes in any given week you must submit two (2) valid tweet URLs through your account page before the weekly reset.
  • Tweets must be publicly accessible posts on X (formerly Twitter) related to your trading wins or activity.
  • Submitted tweets are automatically shared in the designated PredictHQ Discord channel for community engagement.
  • Tweet submissions reset each week. Previous weeks’ tweets do not carry over.

6. Prizes

  • Prize details, values, and distribution methods are announced separately by PredictHQ through the Discord server or other official channels.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel prizes at any time at our sole discretion.
  • Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees associated with receiving prizes.

7. Fair Play & Disqualification

  • Any form of manipulation, fraud, or abuse — including but not limited to using multiple accounts, impersonating another user, artificially inflating PnL, or submitting fake tweets — is strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and to disqualify, suspend, or permanently ban any participant at our sole discretion without prior notice.
  • Decisions regarding disqualification or eligibility are final.

8. Data & Privacy

  • By participating you consent to the collection and display of your Discord username, Discord avatar, and Kalshi PnL growth percentage on the public leaderboard.
  • Your Kalshi username is used solely for verification and PnL retrieval and is not displayed publicly on the leaderboard.
  • We do not store your Discord or Kalshi passwords. Authentication is handled via OAuth and public API endpoints respectively.
  • You may remove yourself from the leaderboard at any time through your account page, which will clear your Kalshi link and associated leaderboard data.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Competition is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of PnL data, leaderboard rankings, or uptime of the platform.
  • PredictHQ is not responsible for any losses, damages, or missed prizes arising from technical issues, data inaccuracies, third-party API changes (including Kalshi or Discord), or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • PredictHQ does not provide financial advice. Participation in prediction markets carries risk and you are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Discord server or on this page. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
